In the 33rd minute, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Larry Estoyanoff dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 37th minute George Brășneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes, Manole Ghiondea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galati Harbour Cats and the Real de Carmelo 2021 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Manole Ghiondea. When Larry Estoyanoff got free in front of the goal in the 41st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Luca Iosif was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Urtun Poblaciones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute George Brășneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Galati Harbour Cats's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xu Liang Yang took the corner. Xu Liang Yang made a great header on Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's corner, it was just that Galati Harbour Cats's Luca Iosif managed to reach the ball for a save. Thiago Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manole Ghiondea was slow to take the kick. During this time Galati Harbour Cats's players had a chance to rest. Urtun Poblaciones tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Thiago Cardozo. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-2 in the 96th minute. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
