The referee ignored Fly T.T's protests and gave Burl Sexton a yellow card for diving instead. Burl Sexton hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Hong Ballard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Ponciano in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Kelemen got free with Hong Ballard in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melchor Kelemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hong Ballard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Fly T.T's Thibault Lane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Farias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hong Ballard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Kelemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Guadalupe Lynn. Hong Ballard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Ellande in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fly T.T's goalkeeper Hong Ballard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thibault Lane to strike the kick off in the second half. Melchor Kelemen struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Hong Ballard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pianello del Lario FC. Hong Ballard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Ponciano in the 73rd minute of the match. Hong Ballard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 77 minutes, Guadalupe Lynn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fly T.T and the Pianello del Lario FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Guadalupe Lynn. 79 minutes into the match, Fly T.T's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Kelemen came free, but Hong Ballard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pianello del Lario FC booed when Fly T.T was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guadalupe Lynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hong Ballard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Kelemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hong Ballard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Kelemen in the 86th minute of play. Fly T.T's Hong Ballard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Kelemen in the 92nd minute of play. Hong Ballard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Kelemen in the 94th minute of the match. A collision led to Pianello del Lario FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Filomeno Hug hit a great ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Fly T.T were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Pianello del Lario FC side.
