The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aurelio Rubio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 15th playminute. Anier Vasco charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Vasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nestor Elivareo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. Saturnino Hunfredo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Black Dog F.C. booed when Roja Directa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Cutberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Rubio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Garin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Roja Directa's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Hunfredo came free, but Daniel Garin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Garin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Rubio in the 45th minute. In the 48th match minute, Roja Directa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Balasi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Roja Directa's Daniel Garin got control of the ball when Aurelio Rubio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimeno Herrera to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Stanislao in the 97th minute of play forced Roja Directa's goalkeeper Daniel Garin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Black Dog F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
