Kılıçalp Cebir kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fashions del Averno's zone, Aykut Kocaman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Tono came out of the goal and Aykut Kocaman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Aykut Kocaman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Indiana University's supporters rose to their feet, but Aykut Kocaman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Tono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute Aykut Kocaman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Indiana University's Güneş Polatkan got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Camerino charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Camerino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cesar Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Cayetano Tono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aykut Kocaman in the 49th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aykut Kocaman to strike the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Tono was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Güneş Polatkan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Güneş Polatkan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Cayetano Tono made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aykut Kocaman in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Aykut Kocaman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Tono. Fashions del Averno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aykut Kocaman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With his leg Cayetano Tono managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Indiana University's Aykut Kocaman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cayetano Tono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güneş Polatkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute, Delmar Nesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fashions del Averno's Cayetano Tono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Fashions del Averno from getting a goal against them. After 80 played minutes Fashions del Averno got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Bartuelo. A collision led to Fashions del Averno getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Mateo Bartuelo hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes Indiana University got a freekick which was hit by Stephen Appiah. If Aykut Kocaman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Tono didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aykut Kocaman went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Indiana University left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fashions del Averno.
