Celedonio Urtzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk Talsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dirk Talsma in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Urtzi saved WINNING ELEVEN from getting behind. Celedonio Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirk Talsma in the 8th minute of the match. Marcial Rafel kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Dirk Talsma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Celedonio Urtzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th match minute, WINNING ELEVEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Lizer to maneuver through the defense. Laurens Oosterman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Abel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Mirande. Elbert Spanjer in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celedonio Urtzi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Koos Keupink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Celedonio Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Urtzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Ginneken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elbert Spanjer in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Urtzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurens Oosterman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Riquelme in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Elbert Spanjer could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Celedonio Urtzi however easily saved by the left post. Juan Riquelme kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Kurt Ginneken got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dirk Talsma made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the WINNING ELEVEN defense, Elbert Spanjer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Urtzi. The WINNING ELEVEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Urtzi should have stopped the shot. If Kurt Ginneken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Emiel Dilling got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Elbert Spanjer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Urtzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dirk Talsma's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 68th match minute, WINNING ELEVEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Mirande to maneuver through the defense. Celedonio Urtzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk Talsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. WINNING ELEVEN's Celedonio Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Talsma in the 73rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas-Gabriel Otamendi during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 76 minutes into the match, WINNING ELEVEN's goal looked a bit too open when Elbert Spanjer came free, but Celedonio Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Rafel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dirk Talsma in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Urtzi saved WINNING ELEVEN from getting behind. A collision led to WINNING ELEVEN getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Paulino Lizer hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Kurt Ginneken got a free kick in the 80th minute. Kurt Ginneken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kurt Ginneken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, WINNING ELEVEN's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Ginneken came free, but Celedonio Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dirk Talsma, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's Elbert Spanjer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celedonio Urtzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the De Pelgrims players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
