Spectators: 7593 (Terracing: 5696, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) LOS TRIPODES's Jeremias Ubendu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the game, LOS TRIPODES's Edgardo Dunixi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pepe Concellon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pepe Concellon was a little too slow when Edgardo Dunixi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Pepe Concellon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Pato in the 17th minute of play forced LOS TRIPODES's goalkeeper Marco Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, LOS TRIPODES's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Pato came free, but Marco Tulio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Obrero Barquisimeto were furious when Osvaldo Lodeña was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Obrero Barquisimeto! Edgardo Dunixi might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pepe Concellon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Dunixi ran back to his position shaking his head. Obrero Barquisimeto were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after LOS TRIPODES's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roberto Pato took the corner. Rogelio Nevada charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Nevada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rogelio Nevada kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Roberto Pato sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Tulio skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Dunixi in the 47th minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Pepe Concellon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Bras Pizarro made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bras Pizarro in the 62nd minute of play forced LOS TRIPODES's goalkeeper Marco Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pepe Concellon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Froila in the 64th minute of the match. Pepe Concellon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Dunixi in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Dunixi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pepe Concellon was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Obrero Barquisimeto's Pepe Concellon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Elazar in the 68th minute of play. LOS TRIPODES:s Marco Tulio showed great skill when he stopped Marcos Akerman:s penalty. After 79 minutes of play, Obrero Barquisimeto's Bras Pizarro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Tulio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 84 played minutes LOS TRIPODES got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Ubendu. In the 86th minute, Esteve Elazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute Saverio Froila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Concellon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Marco Tulio managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Obrero Barquisimeto's Bras Pizarro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to LOS TRIPODES getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Saverio Froila hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LOS TRIPODES had played much better football throughout.
