Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Danny Ings started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danny Flintoff during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Danny Flintoff kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Richard Scholten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 宋林升 came out and tried to block the shot, but Richard Scholten slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. After 6 played minutes Elizabeth Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Danny Hill. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 范挺广 in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Söderberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 宋林升 came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Richard Scholten. But to his dismay, Richard Scholten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Arne Söderberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 范挺广's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute 范挺广 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Arne Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tạ 鲁建南 in the 21st minute of play. Richard Scholten had several of the 浦江棋王联队's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed 宋林升 as he didn't even see the shot coming. Richard Scholten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of 宋林升 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Arne Söderberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Elizabeth Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Cliff Beaver. In the 35th minute 范挺广 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes, 范挺广 made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Arne Söderberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arne Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 康昆傲 in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Kev Bryant got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 范挺广 to make the kick off. The supporters of 浦江棋王联队 booed when Elizabeth Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Lobb didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by 郝夕坤 in the 53rd minute really tested Arne Söderberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to 浦江棋王联队 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. 郝夕坤 hit a great ball. If 范挺广 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arne Söderberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 范挺广's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 3-2 when 范挺广 sped through Elizabeth Three Lions FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arne Söderberg. In the 64th minute, Richard Scholten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 宋林升 was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 69th minute, Richard Scholten made a precise shot to the right of 宋林升. 浦江棋王联队's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. 宋林升 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Scholten in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Elizabeth Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Kev Bryant hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, 范挺广 notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Arne Söderberg. Arne Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the game, Cliff Beaver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 浦江棋王联队 the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Elizabeth Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cliff Beaver to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 92 minutes, 范挺广 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 浦江棋王联队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 范挺广 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Elizabeth Three Lions FC fully deserved thier win.
