Nuno Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dane Friebe in the 3rd minute of the match. Academia Monte Gordo's Nuno Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dane Friebe in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Ahlberg came free, but Nuno Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Couto got free with Thor Nordin in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Hägglund in the 15th minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Nuno Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Ahlberg in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Holm to maneuver through the defense. Dane Friebe took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Vasconcelos. Nuno Vasconcelos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, Timmy Ahlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Vasconcelos. Academia Monte Gordo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timmy Ahlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Academia Monte Gordo's Nuno Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Ahlberg in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Gärsnäs BF booed when Academia Monte Gordo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hildeberto Sesimbra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gärsnäs BF's Dane Friebe got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46thth minute of the game Timmy Ahlberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Monte Gordo's Nuno Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Dane Friebe made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Timmy Ahlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Vasconcelos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Nuno Vasconcelos made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Hägglund in the 58th minute. Thor Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Couto in the 59th minute of play. George Hägglund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Nuno Vasconcelos made a huge save. Karl-Johan Magnusson kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Vivaldo lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Manuel Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hildeberto Sesimbra took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thor Nordin. Thor Nordin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Nuno Vasconcelos was a little too slow when George Hägglund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gärsnäs BF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
