Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Garcha came free, but Jefferson Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Anaya in the 44th minute of play forced Breguete FC's goalkeeper Jefferson Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Motu's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Garcia came free, but Eliseo Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Breguete FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
