Spectators: 7561 (Terracing: 5672, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmílson Mamais got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Sal Jarrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Illinois Bluewaters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bizard FC the free kick. Sal Jarrell kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Roger Myles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Mamais in the 4th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudy Bates during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cesinha Dionísio took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Myles. Roger Myles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 11 minutes, Cesinha Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bizard FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesinha Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bizard FC were furious when Dadá Furtado was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The crowd rose to their feet as Illinois Bluewaters's Deshawn Glenn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Augusto Soeiro. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. Roger Myles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luan Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Dionísio in the 41st minute of play forced Illinois Bluewaters's goalkeeper Roger Myles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bizard FC's Márcio Barbosa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roger Myles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Deshawn Glenn made the kick off in the second half. Roger Myles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Márcio Barbosa in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Cesinha Dionísio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Myles was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Sal Jarrell kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Dionísio in the 56th minute of play forced Illinois Bluewaters's goalkeeper Roger Myles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luan Catarinense received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roger Myles came out and tried to block the shot, but Luan Catarinense slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesinha Dionísio in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Myles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jude Belling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Roger Myles made a huge save. Otis Connors's late challenge caught a Bizard FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otis Connors helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Illinois Bluewaters got a freekick which was hit by Otis Connors. After a defensive mix-up in Illinois Bluewaters's zone, Márcio Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Myles came out of the goal and Márcio Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute Luan Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Myles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Todd hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Jude Belling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Myles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Terrell Tharp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. José Augusto Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Cesinha Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Myles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dante Todd fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Illinois Bluewaters's protests and gave Dante Todd a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Illinois Bluewaters got a freekick which was hit by Dante Todd. The Bizard FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bizard FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
