Arturo Oriol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Belo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Paavali Snellman got free with Blas Hulberto in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Arturo Oriol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Belo in the 64th minute of play. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kilydd Gonzalez in the 83rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Kilydd Gonzalez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Blas Hulberto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arturo Oriol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Nesor in the 88th minute of play. Arturo Oriol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Belo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Cambranes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
