Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5654, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adriano Abraão started the match with the kick off. In the 2ndth minute of the game Lascăr de Backer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avantchê's Fausto do Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute Douglas Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giga Hertz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Cardoso came free, but Giga Hertz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaba Kent in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto do Valle saved Avantchê from getting behind. Fausto do Valle came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Limoeiro-PE FC's Kaba Kent. But to his dismay, Kaba Kent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaba Kent in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto do Valle saved Avantchê from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Kaba Kent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Limoeiro-PE FC's Giga Hertz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Cardoso in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Avantchê booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Tiago Gabriel Cavalcante put in a rough tackle. Tiago Gabriel Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Carlos Fernando Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avantchê's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Fernando Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaba Kent in the 38th minute of the match. Limoeiro-PE FC's Giga Hertz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Cardoso in the 40th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaba Kent was the one to do the kick off. When Kaba Kent came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Limoeiro-PE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaba Kent couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the match, Avantchê's goal looked a bit too open when Kaba Kent came free, but Fausto do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's Kaba Kent sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto do Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 56 minutes Avantchê's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rato Ligero who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaba Kent got free with Fausto do Valle in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Avantchê's Luiz Fernando Pernambucano was substituted for Adriano Abraão. In the 61st match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Cardoso came free, but Giga Hertz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avantchê's Fausto do Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Avantchê from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the game, Avantchê's Maicon Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giga Hertz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kaba Kent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto do Valle having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Sena came free, but Giga Hertz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kaba Kent came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Limoeiro-PE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaba Kent couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiliam Pires during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wiliam Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Limoeiro-PE FC's Giga Hertz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Fernando Pimenta in the 91st minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
