The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goalkeeper Robinho Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matías Giménez. With a little luck, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Robinho Amorim got control of the ball when Martin Palermo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Matías Giménez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robinho Amorim, 2-0. After a rather tough play, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Lucas Paraíba got a free kick in the 14th minute. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Robinho Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Giménez in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Ariando during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Palermo in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robinho Amorim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 24 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho de Senna came free, but Silver Mineur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Robinho Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save DJVAGALUMY FC. from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute, Inocencio Ariando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LTA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 37th minute, Inocencio Ariando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robinho Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in DJVAGALUMY FC.'s zone, Danilo Hitzeder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinho Amorim came out of the goal and Danilo Hitzeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, LTA FC's Cláudio Caneo got a free kick in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the game, Elias Leguizamón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LTA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DJVAGALUMY FC. the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in LTA FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Joélson Silveira shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Matías Giménez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 45th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Palermo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Danilo Hitzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, DJVAGALUMY FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Matías Giménez took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho Amorim. Robinho Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 65 minutes of play, LTA FC's Martin Palermo made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robinho Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute Martin Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, LTA FC's Martin Palermo made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robinho Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to DJVAGALUMY FC. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Lucas Paraíba hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Inocencio Ariando sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Robinho Amorim didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Sergipano got free with Silver Mineur in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 played minutes DJVAGALUMY FC. got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Corrêa. In the 92nd minute, Thiago Vidal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silver Mineur. The goal made the score 9-1. There was no doubt that LTA FC were the better team. LTA FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
