The supporters of MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors booed when AM United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damião Quintanilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Xavier Modesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hildeberto Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roben Petralanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors's Roben Petralanda in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 31st minute, Alexandre De Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th match minute, AM United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliano Freire to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikos Christou to make the kick off. A collision led to MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Caco Pombal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Christou in the 59th minute of play forced MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hildeberto Ramalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roben Petralanda's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The long shot by Sydney Gomes in the 63rd minute really tested Hildeberto Ramalho's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Modesto in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Valle in the 79th minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper Hildeberto Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hildeberto Ramalho firmly grabbed it by the left post. The MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
