Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jens-Åke Larsfelt started the match with the kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Jens-Åke Larsfelt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamenco United's Gilbert Van Meerbeec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Trixande Fåglar BK's Karl-Magnus Stålman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilbert Van Meerbeec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bill Daems got free with Börge Jelm in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Trixande Fåglar BK's Peter Ahlquist got a free kick in the 17th minute. Jens-Åke Larsfelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gilbert Van Meerbeec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börge Jelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Docx in the 25th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Jens-Åke Larsfelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Van Meerbeec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börge Jelm made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Klaas De Loose sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Trixande Fåglar BK's Karl-Magnus Stålman got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Ralf Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Rudkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Van Meerbeec having to interfere.

Trixande Fåglar BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ola Wikander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens-Åke Larsfelt had several of the Flamenco United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Gilbert Van Meerbeec as he didn't even see the shot coming. Börge Jelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaas De Loose in the 86th minute of the match. After 92 minutes, Jens-Åke Larsfelt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trixande Fåglar BK and the Flamenco United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Flamenco United booed when Trixande Fåglar BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Larsfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball.
