The referee ignored Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s protests and gave Fermin Gregory a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Fermin Gregory hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Alexandro Riells ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Bermudo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ booed when AGT Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Vazquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Chus. Armando Quezada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Villafane having to interfere. Eusebio Villafane came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Armando Quezada. But to his dismay, Armando Quezada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Armando Quezada scored 1-5 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebio Villafane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusebio Villafane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Quezada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Bermudo made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Norberto Vazquez sent off a good shot on target. Cornelio Bermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandro Riells in the 38th minute of the match. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Armando Quezada got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 minutes of play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Armando Quezada made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebio Villafane was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Garoa Madariaga to make the kick off. AGT Team were furious when Basilio Barrientos was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fermin Gregory, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AGT Team's Eusebio Villafane. 1-7. Allande Antunez charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allande Antunez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Allande Antunez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Armando Quezada dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eusebio Villafane, 1-8. Eusebio Villafane made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Chucky Lozano sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute Armando Quezada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Villafane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Cornelio Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandro Riells in the 68th minute of play. Armando Quezada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebio Villafane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Adelio Griego got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Vincent Janssen replaced Armando Quezada. After some careless play in the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ defense, Garoa Madariaga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Bermudo. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Bermudo should have stopped the shot. Cornelio Bermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Altzibar Murcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandro Riells in the 89th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Cornelio Bermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebio Villafane was a little too slow when Vincent Janssen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 2-9. Allande Antunez hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
