When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Vicente Sasoin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Salvador Ramond. Eduardo Llorienzo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Sasoin came free, but Salvador Ramond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Johans took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salvador Ramond. Salvador Ramond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Salvador Ramond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Johans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Mark in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Ramond saved Quitilipi from getting behind. Atlético Nacional's Baltasar Guillerme got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Quitilipi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Nacional were winning 0-6.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Silvanito was the one to do the kick off. Serafin Mark's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Salvador Ramond skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 54 minutes into the game, Santiago Herrera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Salvador Ramond. Santiago Herrera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. 60 minutes into the match, Serafin Mark notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Quitilipi's Salvador Ramond. Salvador Ramond was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serafin Mark did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Salvador Ramond 72 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Salvador Ramond successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Serafin Mark scored 0-10 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salvador Ramond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Llorienzo in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Rioja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serafin Mark in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Salvador Ramond, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Gudesteo during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Natalio Gudesteo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Anier Mel from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Salvador Ramond's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Quitilipi's zone, Vicente Sasoin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Ramond came out of the goal and Vicente Sasoin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atlético Nacional's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
