With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manole Dascălu in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albérico Igrejas saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. When Sabin Hreapcă fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Urzicuța's protests and gave Sabin Hreapcă a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Urzicuța getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sabin Hreapcă hit a great ball. David Adomniței's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albérico Igrejas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After taking down the ball on FC Urzicuța's corner Nicola Rareș fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Albérico Igrejas quite easily take care of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Marcel Chiriță successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcel Chiriță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudemiro Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Silvério Vides left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Israel Patrícios short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Marcel Chiriță to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Marcel Chiriță when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar.
