Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Israel Patrício kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Israel Patrício ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adhemar das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Claudemiro Madureira took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adhemar das Neves. Adhemar das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Patrício in the 12th minute of play forced Red Bull Magnus's goalkeeper Adhemar das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Patrício received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Adhemar das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Silvério Vides ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adhemar das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Adhemar das Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Israel Patrício went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. When Claudemiro Madureira came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudemiro Madureira couldn't finish the play. Adhemar das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Patrício in the 44th minute of play. Erasmo de Salles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albérico Igrejas came out and tried to block the shot, but Erasmo de Salles slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The wind increased when Erasmo de Salles made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Red Bull Magnus's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Patrício came free, but Adhemar das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Adhemar das Neves threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silvério Vides, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Menelaos Damianos came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Menelaos Damianos couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Red Bull Magnus's Richard de Toledo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Adhemar das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Vides in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Tony Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Claudemiro Madureira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adhemar das Neves skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Pontes in the 72nd minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Albérico Igrejas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Magnus's zone, Israel Patrício stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adhemar das Neves came out of the goal and Israel Patrício tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudemiro Madureira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adhemar das Neves having to make a save. Adhemar das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudemiro Madureira in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo de Salles in the 86th minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Albérico Igrejas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adhemar das Neves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvério Vides showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 89 minute of play. A collision led to Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Claudemiro Madureira hit a great ball. In the 93rd match minute, Red Bull Magnus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Massa to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
