Christer Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Oihan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute of the match, Zaaki Zakas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Severiano Rafe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Valdir Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Severiano Rafe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Severiano Rafe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Velloso in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Here Comes the Hammer getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Valter Delin hit a great ball. Camilo Peru made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Silvano Polentzi however managed to control. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaaki Zakas to strike the kick off in the second half. Here Comes the Hammer's Valdir Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severiano Rafe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Petersson's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Fred Petersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severiano Rafe having to make a save. Severiano Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Petersson in the 88th minute of the match.
