Cayetano Rito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th minute, Allan Santana had to leave the field with a concussion. Robi Rebane charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robi Rebane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulopolis's Pedro Luís Capixaba was substituted for Allan Santana. Illimar Sulg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Illimar Sulg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Hugo defense, Marcel Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Illimar Sulg. The FC Hugo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Illimar Sulg should have stopped the shot. When Paulopolis's Marcel Vieira in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Hugo's goalie prevented a goal. Ailar Aal kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Paulopolis booed when FC Hugo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Ojamäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taavi Kapsi in the 37th minute of the match. If Robert Ojamäe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Hugo booed when Paulopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ojamäe in the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Helari Põldmaa was the one to do the kick off. Cayetano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taavi Kapsi in the 51st minute of play. Marcel Vieira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Illimar Sulg having to make a save. After 56 minutes of play, FC Hugo's Robert Ojamäe made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Rito was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, Helari Põldmaa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cayetano Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Ojamäe, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cayetano Rito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taavi Kapsi's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes Paulopolis's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kaspar Ehasalu who took care of the corner kick. FC Hugo's Robi Rebane was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cayetano Rito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 70th match minute, FC Hugo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taavi Kapsi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Hugo booed when Paulopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaspar Ehasalu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Paulopolis defense, Robert Ojamäe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Rito. The Paulopolis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Rito should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Helari Põldmaa in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Rito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taavi Kapsi in the 84th minute of the match. Enio Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Illimar Sulg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Vieira in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Illimar Sulg saved FC Hugo from getting behind. In the 94th match minute, FC Hugo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ailar Aal to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Marcel Vieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Illimar Sulg was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Hugo had won after a very even match.
