ITAFUT 4EVER's Alan Bittencourt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save ITAFUT 4EVER from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Lencois booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evair Palmeira took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sidnei Mendonça. Sidnei Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Tonhão Palmeira got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Lencois defense, Evair Palmeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sidnei Mendonça. The Lencois fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sidnei Mendonça should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute Guto de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Guto de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Anderson Pernambucano got a free kick in the 36th minute. Sidnei Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evair Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Lencois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Velasco to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Lencois's goal looked a bit too open when Evair Palmeira came free, but Sidnei Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half ITAFUT 4EVER were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Daniel Salgado made the kick off in the second half. Tonhão Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. ITAFUT 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lencois the free kick. Tonhão Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugênio Barbosa in the 80th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Alan Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Evair Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ITAFUT 4EVER played a much better game than Lencois and deserved their victory. The Lencois players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
