In the 17th minute Tomás Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Stella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Aguinhas's Vitório Lago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmondo Stella made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Edmondo Stella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitório Lago went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute, Teodoro Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vágner Loyola was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edoardo Polito. Vágner Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achille Violento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Arósio in the 40th minute of play forced Schuster's goalkeeper Edmondo Stella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Vitório Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Stella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Gabriel Arósio made a kick off. Damiano Capaldo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Edoardo Polito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Schuster's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguinhas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Schuster's Edoardo Polito got a free kick in the 66th minute. Schuster's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Capaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vágner Loyola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodoro Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Edoardo Polito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
