Agustin Ruberto struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Gaspar Firme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Quilino during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Amapola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Quilino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Ruberto in the 13th minute of play forced Amapola's goalkeeper Gaspar Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Agustin Ruberto charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Ruberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Agustin Ruberto hit a great ball. Cecilio Roderigo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Rafael Modestio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Mendebal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Rafael Modestio's late challenge caught a El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Modestio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Amapola's Rafael Modestio got a free kick in the 30th minute. Gaspar Firme came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's Gaston Feliu. But to his dismay, Gaston Feliu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Felix Etor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute Agustin Ruberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Firme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anibal Muc to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Amapola's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Etor came free, but Gaspar Firme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Wilfredo Felipillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Ruberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Firme having to interfere. Gaspar Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 92 minutes, Gaston Feliu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa and the Amapola players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's Felix Etor got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Amapola supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's performance. The match ended with a win for El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa.
