With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zainal Pusaka in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cyprian Mitus saved Resistencia Tayrona FC from getting behind. When Pinilih Oddang fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ROYALFOX FC's protests and gave Pinilih Oddang a yellow card for diving instead. Pinilih Oddang hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Saturnino Espindola hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The supporters of ROYALFOX FC booed when Resistencia Tayrona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Espindola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cyprian Mitus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zainal Pusaka in the 25th minute of the match. Salbatore Yunibarbia charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salbatore Yunibarbia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ROYALFOX FC booed when Resistencia Tayrona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montrel Chamorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincentius Noor having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Montrel Chamorro put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vincentius Noor. 43 minutes into the match, Taurino Hernaiz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ROYALFOX FC's Vincentius Noor. Vincentius Noor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taurino Hernaiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Resistencia Tayrona FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
