When America Futebol Clube SP's Edson Mendonça in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RO Army V55's goalie prevented a goal. RO Army V55's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thodoris Polimenakos in the 7th minute. Markos Kokotoulis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Gonçalo de Amorim made a huge save. Samuca Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute RO Army V55 were awarded a corner. Thodoris Polimenakos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of America Futebol Clube SP's goalie and right to Giannis Katsadramis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. America Futebol Clube SP's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Eutichios Bletsas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edson Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Edson Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eutichios Bletsas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eutichios Bletsas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Mendonça in the 26th minute of the match. Eutichios Bletsas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Eutichios Bletsas came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by America Futebol Clube SP's Régis Paiva. But to his dismay, Régis Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 47th match minute, RO Army V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thodoris Tabakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Samuca Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edson Mendonça made a kick off. When America Futebol Clube SP's Geovânio Netto in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RO Army V55's goalie prevented a goal. America Futebol Clube SP's Geovânio Netto managed to work through RO Army V55's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Geovânio Netto dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Paulo Albuquerque in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eutichios Bletsas saved RO Army V55 from getting behind. Sérgio Trigo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Eutichios Bletsas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Mendonça in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes RO Army V55 got a freekick which was hit by Marin Duna. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind RO Army V55's goalkeeper Eutichios Bletsas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eutichios Bletsas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Albuquerque in the 72nd minute of the match. Eutichios Bletsas was a little too slow when Régis Paiva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-4. Eutichios Bletsas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Albuquerque in the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, RO Army V55's Eutichios Bletsas got control of the ball when Edson Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eutichios Bletsas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes, Thodoris Tabakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RO Army V55 and the America Futebol Clube SP players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Thodoris Tabakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Edson Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eutichios Bletsas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the RO Army V55 defense, Edson Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eutichios Bletsas. The RO Army V55 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eutichios Bletsas should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded America Futebol Clube SP left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RO Army V55.
