Curcio Borrero started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes, Dag Bäckström made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Grosso United's Saturnino Romo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saturnino Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curcio Borrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert á Borg in the 13th minute of play forced Grosso United's goalkeeper Saturnino Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Trollebo's Claes Wallmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Iago in the 17th minute of play. Curcio Borrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Grosso United's Natalio Peyo got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Åke Abelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Trollebo's Claes Wallmark was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, AC Trollebo's Jakub Latocha got a free kick in the 27th minute. Claes Wallmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Abelsson in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Trollebo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Natalio Peyo was slow to take the kick. During this time Grosso United's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Åke Abelsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Miguel Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goalkeeper Saturnino Romo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Curcio Borrero. AC Trollebo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sean McMaster in the 35th minute. Miguel Berbiz tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Saturnino Romo. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 35th minute. Curcio Borrero scored 4-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saturnino Romo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Curcio Borrero fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Saturnino Romo came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by AC Trollebo's Gilbert á Borg. But to his dismay, Gilbert á Borg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Bäckström in the 81st minute of play forced Grosso United's goalkeeper Saturnino Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claes Wallmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Urbasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Saturnino Romo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbert á Borg went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Curcio Borrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Grosso United booed when AC Trollebo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sean McMaster didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th match minute, AC Trollebo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakub Latocha to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AC Trollebo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Grosso United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
