Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eriberto de Castro started the match with the kick off. Eldridge Talon kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Grosso United's Saturnino Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Friedman in the 9th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Sabin Bălcescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto de Castro in the 16th minute of play forced Grosso United's goalkeeper Saturnino Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grosso United's Saturnino Romo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Grosso United from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Sabin Bălcescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Samuel Iago fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grosso United's protests and gave Samuel Iago a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Grosso United got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Iago. A collision led to Topsail getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Rupert Pacheco hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Eriberto de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Friedman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Saturnino Romo made a huge save. Topsail's Armand Billings played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Abelsson in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Grosso United booed when Topsail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Massey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Iago to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Sabin Bălcescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Topsail's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grosso United the free kick. The supporters of Grosso United booed when Topsail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Bălcescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Bălcescu in the 57th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Grosso United's Åke Abelsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armand Billings. Armand Billings yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Grosso United's Saturnino Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Friedman in the 77th minute of play. Saturnino Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Goddu in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Eriberto de Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Topsail fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Friedman in the 84th minute of play forced Grosso United's goalkeeper Saturnino Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Sabin Bălcescu made a precise shot to the right of Saturnino Romo. Grosso United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Saturnino Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Goddu in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Topsail's Sabin Bălcescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saturnino Romo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. 96 minutes into the game, Åke Abelsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armand Billings. Åke Abelsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-2.
