Aílton Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. If Robustiano Hats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Durazno FC's 龙笑霖 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Carioca in the 7th minute of play. Carlos Fernando Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. 龙笑霖 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matungo Gaúcho. 龙笑霖 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Carioca in the 11th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Matungo Gaúcho got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Santos. Robustiano Hats took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Lara. Fernando Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Robustiano Hats had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Lara. Matungo Gaúcho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robustiano Hats was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Fernando Lara made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Romeo Hernandez sent off a good shot on target. Fernando Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Hats, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Durazno FC's Sebastian Gotzon got a free kick in the 29th minute. Romeo Hernandez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Hats in the 37th minute of play forced Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Fernando Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Matungo Gaúcho's Fernando Lara got control of the ball when Marcelino Obeko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Marquez in the 39th minute of play. Fernando Lara made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Romeo Hernandez sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Robustiano Hats made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Lara. Matungo Gaúcho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 48 minutes into the game, Romeo Hernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Fernando Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fernando Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Malvin in the 54th minute of the match. After 57 minutes of play, Durazno FC's Guido Florin made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, one of Durazno FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Durazno FC. In the 65th minute of the game, Matungo Gaúcho got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 67th match minute, Durazno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Lando to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Fernando Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Durazno FC's Robustiano Hats got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Placido Marquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Lara having to make a save. After some careless play in the Matungo Gaúcho defense, Romeo Hernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Lara. The Matungo Gaúcho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Lara should have stopped the shot. Sílvio Luiz Dias made a great header on Matungo Gaúcho's corner, it was just that Durazno FC's 龙笑霖 managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 90th minute, Carlos Fernando Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Hernandez in the 92nd minute of play forced Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Fernando Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Hernandez in the 96th minute of the match. Romeo Hernandez took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Lara. Fernando Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Durazno FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
