Emil Murgoci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC TraLaLa's Mihăiţă Fărcașu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FC TraLaLa from getting a goal against them. Mihăiţă Fărcașu made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Hílton Vander sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Murgoci in the 24th minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Sarmento struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Mihăiţă Fărcașu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ. Luiz Mello came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by FC TraLaLa's Sever Piţurcă. But to his dismay, Sever Piţurcă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 45 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Fărcașu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Sarmento. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diamantino do Vale made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, FC TraLaLa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Ilarie to maneuver through the defense. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Luiz Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Medrea in the 57th minute of play. Marius Stoian charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marius Stoian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hílton Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Emil Murgoci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Luiz Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC TraLaLa's Sever Piţurcă got a free kick in the 71st minute. Mihăiţă Fărcașu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Azevedo in the 80th minute of play. Luiz Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Udrişte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Sever Piţurcă took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Luiz Mello to make any attempt to save it.
