The supporters of Revenge booed when Annedal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Kilström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pieter Hosson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Offendahl in the 15th minute of the match. Karl-Åke Östensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter Hosson having to interfere. Pieter Hosson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Offendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Annedal FC's Stig-Ove Håkansson got control of the ball when Steven Palsma tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Steven Palsma fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Revenge's protests and gave Steven Palsma a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Revenge getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Steven Palsma hit a great ball. Revenge's Pieter Hosson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Offendahl in the 45th minute of play. Stig-Ove Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonny Tonnis in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tonny Tonnis to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Bengt-Rune Hegg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annedal FC and the Revenge players grew even worse after the yellow card. 54 minutes into the match, Niklas Norberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pieter Hosson, 0-2. Stig-Ove Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonny Tonnis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niklas Norberg got free with Pieter Hosson in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steven Palsma in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Ove Håkansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pieter Hosson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Åke Östensson's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 68 minutes of play, Revenge's Steven Palsma made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig-Ove Håkansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ritchie Granville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Annedal FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lennart de Boer was slow to take the kick. During this time Revenge's players had a chance to rest. Pieter Hosson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Offendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ritchie Granville's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig-Ove Håkansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Pieter Hosson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Ahlén in the 92nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Annedal FC defense, Ritchie Granville kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig-Ove Håkansson. The Annedal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig-Ove Håkansson should have stopped the shot. Annedal FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Revenge to leave the ground with a draw.
