Gorka Dominguez hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo O IRIXO's zone, Juan Abascal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosario Parrales came out of the goal and Juan Abascal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner led Águilas Poblanas's Godofredo Harriet to fire away a dangerous shot which Rosario Parrales despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Timoteo Elija replaced Mauricio Montes. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Abascal made a kick off. Saverio Chuse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Teyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rosario Parrales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's He Peng Cheng got a free kick in the 59th minute. Águilas Poblanas's Saverio Chuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julen Solera in the 61st minute of play. After 72 minutes, Donato Teyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Águilas Poblanas and the Club Deportivo O IRIXO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Donato Teyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Gorka Dominguez got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Rosario Parrales got control of the ball when Juan Abascal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gorka Dominguez made in the 89th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Xan Casillas immediately put the ball in play. Erubiel Olayo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Juan Abascals short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Rosario Parrales to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Águilas Poblanas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
