Del Hernandez came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Elite™- FC Galácticos's Cristóvão Maciel. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Maciel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 6 played minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Lago. If Drew Latham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute, Drew Latham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 minutes of play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Cristóvão Maciel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Del Hernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ademar Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alex Hyatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Donnarumma having to interfere. Del Hernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael de Brito in the 24th minute. Eric Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Pate, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Pate in the 26th minute of play forced Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Eric Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Décio de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Del Hernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Elite™- FC Galácticos booed when Key Biscayne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Hyatt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Del Hernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Paulo de Mendonça in the 36th minute. Del Hernandez made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ulisses Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. Key Biscayne FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when José Paulo de Mendonça scored to the left of an out of position Del Hernandez, making the score, 4-0. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Cristóvão Maciel took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Del Hernandez to make any attempt to save it. Del Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo de Mendonça in the 48th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristóvão Maciel made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Key Biscayne FC's Drew Latham dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. After 64 minutes, Edgard Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elite™- FC Galácticos and the Key Biscayne FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Elite™- FC Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Torres to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes of play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Cristóvão Maciel made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Del Hernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael de Brito in the 72nd minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Del Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Del Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Maciel in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Key Biscayne FC's zone, Raphael de Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Del Hernandez came out of the goal and Raphael de Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, José Paulo de Mendonça notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Key Biscayne FC's Del Hernandez. Del Hernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristóvão Maciel in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Del Hernandez saved Key Biscayne FC from getting behind. 91 minutes into the game, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Ulisses Cavalcante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Del Hernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. Elite™- FC Galácticos's José Paulo de Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Elite™- FC Galácticos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
