Sportivo Luan Toro's Gustavo Campagnuolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Lång in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Lost Boys Sports Academy got a corner. Sportivo Luan Toro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigvard Åström ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Lost Boys Sports Academy's corner Sigvard Åström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gustavo Campagnuolo quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Nils-Åke Sjö got a free kick in the 27th minute. Håkan Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Manilan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 37 played minutes Lost Boys Sports Academy got a freekick which was hit by Helge Hedlund. Cecilio Montrel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Håkan Söderberg made a huge save. In the 41st minute Sportivo Luan Toro were awarded a corner. Lucas Uzuri went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sportivo Luan Toro's Lucas Uzuri to fire away a dangerous shot which Håkan Söderberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Håkan Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Perutxo in the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to Lost Boys Sports Academy getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Nils-Åke Sjö hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Sportivo Luan Toro booed when Lost Boys Sports Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Lång didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Luan Toro's Gustavo Campagnuolo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Luan Toro from getting a goal against them. Herbert Lång's late challenge caught a Sportivo Luan Toro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Lång helped the player get up and apologised. Sten Stolpe charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sten Stolpe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lost Boys Sports Academy getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Sten Stolpe hit a great ball. Sportivo Luan Toro's Lino Gerazan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Herbert Lång in the 73 minute of the game. Gustavo Campagnuolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Lång in the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Cecilio Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Luan Toro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Montrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Håkan Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Campagnuolo made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Herbert Lång sent off a good shot on target. The attack was good, but when Ildefonso Manilan in the 96th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
