Jerónimo Espírito Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miradeses FC's Jerónimo Espírito Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Gomez in the 5th minute of play. Valentin Gomez might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerónimo Espírito Santo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Gomez ran back to his position shaking his head. Elói Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jerónimo Espírito Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Gomez in the 12th minute of play forced Miradeses FC's goalkeeper Jerónimo Espírito Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerónimo Espírito Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Gomez in the 13th minute of play. In the 36th minute Valentin Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerónimo Espírito Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Murilo Azevedo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murilo Monteiro during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Wolf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Miradeses FC's Jerónimo Espírito Santo got control of the ball when Elói Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Gomez was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Wolf booed when Miradeses FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Lamego didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute, Elói Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerónimo Espírito Santo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 58th minute Elói Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerónimo Espírito Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Miradeses FC's zone, Valentin Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerónimo Espírito Santo came out of the goal and Valentin Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Abel Pegado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edmundo Catarinense was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Miradeses FC's Abel Pegado got a free kick in the 65th minute. Miradeses FC's Jerónimo Espírito Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Moraes in the 70th minute of play. Miradeses FC's Rui Lamego got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Wolf's Valentin Gomez in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Miradeses FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 81 played minutes Miradeses FC got a freekick which was hit by André Lousada. Jerónimo Espírito Santo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Gomez's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Gomez in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerónimo Espírito Santo saved Miradeses FC from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Elói Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd match minute, Wolf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Lara to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Valentin Gomez notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Miradeses FC's Jerónimo Espírito Santo. Jerónimo Espírito Santo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
