After 4 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Ermis Panakakis. Diamantino Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sakis Tavlaridis came out and tried to block the shot, but Diamantino Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. In the 11th minute, Iordanis Petrou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, O.T.E's Vrasidas Pelidis got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Cactos's Amílton Paulista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sakis Tavlaridis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sakis Tavlaridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton Leite in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Ermis Panakakis. O.T.E's Sakis Tavlaridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Leite in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Amílton Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cactos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílton Paulista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Aírton Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sakis Tavlaridis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alekos Roubakis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 64thth minute of the game Aírton Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O.T.E's Sakis Tavlaridis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Theofilos Chronatos hit a great ball. Cactos's attack was well implemented in the 66th minute, but when Diamantino Santos was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick.
