Jerzy Werra came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tivadar Lovas could save by the left post. The referee showed Kasperi Kylmänen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kim Innanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Botvik FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Róbert Seres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Botvik FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grandi Lupi were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Róbert Seres was the one to do the kick off. Lassi Kaikkonen lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 53rd minute, Lassi Kaikkonen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olivér Kállai might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ossi Jukkola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olivér Kállai ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artturi Möksy during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Botvik FC defense, János Gyulai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ossi Jukkola. The Botvik FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ossi Jukkola should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Grandi Lupi's Róbert Seres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ossi Jukkola. Ossi Jukkola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4.
