The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cosme Mikelar hit a great ball. Tomás Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yetkiner Yasun in the 4th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Eustaquio Tiadoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Olof Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Uzuri in the 33rd minute of play. If Marcial Rosio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Mugur Angheluș notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bendito Sea El Fernet's Tomás Maule. Tomás Maule was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 89th minute, one of Bendito Sea El Fernet:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bendito Sea El Fernet. 3-4 came through a penalty shot after 91 played minutes, when FC Lutanu:s Luca Mischie calmly waited for Bendito Sea El Fernet:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. 96 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Tiadoro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Olof Berglund. FC Lutanu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Tiadoro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4.
