The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Gonçalo Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 minutes of play, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Eliézer de Queirós made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Pimenta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Marcos Pimenta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, S O B E R A N O CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Pombal to maneuver through the defense. MARINUS MZC's Marcos Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer de Queirós in the 17th minute of play. Marcos Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer de Queirós in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Gonçalo Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Pimenta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliézer de Queirós to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Marcos Pimenta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Pombal. After 55 minutes MARINUS MZC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caetano Valladares who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Caetano Valladares almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MARINUS MZC's Marcos Pimenta did a great save. Marcos Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Torres in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliézer de Queirós in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Pimenta saved MARINUS MZC from getting behind. MARINUS MZC's Marcos Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Torres in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Eliézer de Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Pimenta. MARINUS MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliézer de Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Marcos Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Nogueira in the 65th minute of the match. Marcos Pimenta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gonçalo Torres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 68 minute of play. After 70 minutes, Josué Souto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARINUS MZC and the S O B E R A N O CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Josué Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Pimenta was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Eliézer de Queirós capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliézer de Queirós really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. After 75th play minutes Eliézer de Queirós shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Marcos Pimenta and just under the crossbar into goal. 79 minutes into the game, Eliézer de Queirós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Marcos Pimenta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliézer de Queirós got free with Marcos Pimenta in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eliézer de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Marcos Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Eliézer de Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
