The long shot by Eurico de Sousa in the 5th minute really tested Emanuel Peren's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Emanuel Peren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Ramalho in the 9th minute of play. After 12 minutes of play, Jenipapo SC's Marcelinho Gonçalves made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Peren was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of REAL COHOLICS booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredinho Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laércio Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Wellington Rodrigues's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Emanuel Peren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jenipapo SC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after REAL COHOLICS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zonta took the corner. Jenipapo SC's Daniel Zonta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emanuel Peren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 25 minutes into the game, Wellington Rodrigues recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emanuel Peren. Wellington Rodrigues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 27 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto de Sena. Emanuel Peren made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Wellington Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. Jenipapo SC's Wellington Rodrigues was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Emanuel Peren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in REAL COHOLICS's zone, Marcelinho Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Peren came out of the goal and Marcelinho Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Rios made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Wellington Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Peren was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After 58 minutes, Wellington Rodrigues made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. REAL COHOLICS's Emanuel Peren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Peren came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Marcelinho Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Marcelinho Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Sergio Toledano hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Wellington Rodrigues made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Peren. REAL COHOLICS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Moisés Moscoso hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. REAL COHOLICS's Emanuel Peren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wellington Rodrigues in the 79th minute of play. Daniel Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Peren having to interfere. Emanuel Peren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Ramalho in the 84th minute of play. If Marcelinho Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Jenipapo SC booed when REAL COHOLICS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Toledano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Peren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Rodrigues in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jenipapo SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while REAL COHOLICS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
