A collision led to LIVERPOOL FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Leontin Stoleru hit a great ball. Victor Mocanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's Christiano Ferraz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Mocanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Romando Futebol Clube's Mazinho Prestes fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Valdo Cavalcante sped through LIVERPOOL FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victor Mocanu. Moisés Tepedino's late challenge caught a LIVERPOOL FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moisés Tepedino helped the player get up and apologised. Moisés Tepedino hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The supporters of LIVERPOOL FC booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Christiano Ferraz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of LIVERPOOL FC's Victor Mocanu. Victor Mocanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, Mazinho Prestes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Mocanu. LIVERPOOL FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mazinho Prestes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a rather tough play, LIVERPOOL FC's Ilie Zbuchea got a free kick in the 32nd minute. LIVERPOOL FC's Victor Mocanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Ferraz in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Romando Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Cavalcante. Victor Mocanu came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Romando Futebol Clube's Valdo Cavalcante. But to his dismay, Valdo Cavalcante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Victor Mocanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Dante in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Romando Futebol Clube were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Régis Dante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iurie Maniu charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iurie Maniu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, Iurie Maniu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th match minute, Romando Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Prestes to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Iurie Maniu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LIVERPOOL FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 62 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's Mazinho Prestes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Mocanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Mocanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Cordeiro in the 64th minute. Régis Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Mocanu having to interfere. With a little luck, LIVERPOOL FC's Victor Mocanu got control of the ball when Christiano Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Régis Dante took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Victor Mocanu to make any attempt to save it. In the 78th minute Mazinho Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Mocanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Herescu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Romando Futebol Clube's Régis Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Régis Dante received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victor Mocanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Régis Dante slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 84th minute. With a little luck, LIVERPOOL FC's Victor Mocanu got control of the ball when Christiano Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdo Cavalcante got free with Victor Mocanu in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romando Futebol Clube played a much better game than LIVERPOOL FC and deserved their victory. The LIVERPOOL FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
