Andrés Calatayud charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrés Calatayud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Andrés Calatayud. After 6 played minutes, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Guillerme Bojorquez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Loramendi Santander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Dep. Soc. Rodo reached it. If Angelo Arenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentín santillana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gamus Landeros having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match, Angelo Arenas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gamus Landeros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 44th match minute, A.D. Alcorcón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrés Calatayud to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Oliviero Zapata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gamus Landeros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliviero Zapata to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, A.D. Alcorcón's Oliviero Zapata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gamus Landeros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 59th minute, Angelo Arenas made a precise shot to the right of Gamus Landeros. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Arenas in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gamus Landeros saved Club Dep. Soc. Rodo from getting behind. Birjaio Masdeu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Fortunato Amer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D. Alcorcón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Amer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loramendi Santander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Luzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute Angelo Arenas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gamus Landeros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of A.D. Alcorcón booed when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Oces didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felip Japón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gamus Landeros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Gamus Landeros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliviero Zapata in the 86th minute of play. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Gamus Landeros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Amer in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vasco Larrangos during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Club Dep. Soc. Rodo getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Vasco Larrangos hit a great ball. There was no doubt that A.D. Alcorcón were the better team. A.D. Alcorcón's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
