In the 4th minute János Holzhauser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mátyás Papp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Eyague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Viktor Edelényi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Jakes was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Delmar Jakes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from János Holzhauser in the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Edgardo Erramu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yo Soy Tu Padre's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Erramu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mátyás Papp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mátyás Papp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Rosalio in the 36th minute of play. Máté Polgár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Jakes having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 53 minutes FC Budapest's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lázaro Eyague who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Arturo Rosalio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Yo Soy Tu Padre's Edgardo Erramu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when János Holzhauser got free with Delmar Jakes in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elvio Mogel charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvio Mogel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Yo Soy Tu Padre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Baumer to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Jeromos Mayer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yo Soy Tu Padre's Delmar Jakes didn't even have to move. In the 81st minute Elvio Mogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mátyás Papp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Yo Soy Tu Padre's goalkeeper Delmar Jakes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Edelényi. With an all-out effort, FC Budapest's Delmar Jakes threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Máté Polgár, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 86 minutes into the match, Yo Soy Tu Padre's goal looked a bit too open when János Holzhauser came free, but Delmar Jakes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Jakes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máté Polgár in the 89th minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Yo Soy Tu Padre got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Gabino. In the 96th minute, János Holzhauser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmar Jakes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Yo Soy Tu Padre fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Budapest were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
