Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Almaröds FF's Gustaf Bogren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Radu Lupșoiu made in the 2nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Avram Panaiteanu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avram Panaiteanu got free with Ove Glanselius in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ove Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Iorgu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the game, Emilian Isopescu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Almaröds FF's Jerry Winström quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 7 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Bogren came free, but Nicodim Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Codrin Aalexoaiei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th of the match, Eusebiu Boroș tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ove Glanselius got in the way and made a wonderful save. Avram Panaiteanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Ove Glanselius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Avram Panaiteanu scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Glanselius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almaröds FF's goalkeeper Ove Glanselius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicodim Arghirescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaf Bogren went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Almaröds FF's Ove Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Iorgu in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kent Biörling during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when Almaröds FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Biörling didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Almaröds FF getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gösta Svanström hit a great ball. Ove Glanselius came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Iorgu. But to his dismay, Olimpiu Iorgu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ove Glanselius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebiu Boroș in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Almaröds FF's Gustaf Bogren got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Avram Panaiteanu to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Avram Panaiteanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carpathian Wolves fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niculae Arbore during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Almaröds FF getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Anton Johansson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Aalexoaiei in the 61st minute of play forced Almaröds FF's goalkeeper Ove Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ove Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Isopescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Almaröds FF's Anton Johansson got a free kick in the 64th minute. Kent Biörling got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Almaröds FF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Kent Biörling hit a great ball. Ove Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Boroș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Almaröds FF's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Panaiteanu came free, but Ove Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes Almaröds FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eric Condescu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Niculae Arbore got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ove Glanselius quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 83rd minute Eusebiu Boroș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ove Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Boroș, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ove Glanselius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avram Panaiteanu went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Avram Panaiteanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ove Glanselius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Avram Panaiteanu ran back to his position shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Carpathian Wolves fully deserved thier win.
