In the 7th minute, Xurupita FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eliodor Senin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Xurupita FC's 姜响昆 got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by 姜响昆. With his leg Hílton Costa managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Carpathian Wolves's Avram Panaiteanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nicodim Arghirescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesinha Faria went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Cesinha Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicodim Arghirescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesinha Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicodim Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Panaiteanu in the 55th minute of play forced Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Hílton Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Xurupita FC's zone, Eusebiu Boroș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Costa came out of the goal and Eusebiu Boroș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliodor Senin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hílton Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Avram Panaiteanu put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hílton Costa. 70 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Nicodim Arghirescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Pena. After 75 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Senin. Eusebiu Boroș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82ndth minute of the game Avram Panaiteanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xurupita FC's Hílton Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicodim Arghirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
