Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Americo Abechuco took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Milton Friedman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papillon AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Milton Friedman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Macerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milton Friedman in the 6th minute of play forced EL CERVECERO F.C.'s goalkeeper Arnaldo Macerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, EL CERVECERO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Pello to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 11 minutes, Timoteo Herrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papillon AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Herrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 played minutes EL CERVECERO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Furtado. Arnaldo Macerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Urki's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. If Oscar Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Americo Abechuco got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes, Octavio Dodorol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papillon AC and the EL CERVECERO F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Milton Friedman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Papillon AC's Octavio Dodorol got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Octavio Dodorol off the ground. 27 minutes into the game, one of Papillon AC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Urki in the 32nd minute of play forced EL CERVECERO F.C.'s goalkeeper Arnaldo Macerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Papillon AC's zone, Americo Abechuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keylor Navas came out of the goal and Americo Abechuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Macerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Möllgren in the 36th minute of the match. Papillon AC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Timoteo Herrera in the 37th minute. Milton Friedman was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Erland Möllgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Arnaldo Macerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Möllgren in the 55th minute of the match. Arnaldo Macerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Urki's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Nicasio Ongile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Niva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Macerio having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Niceto Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to EL CERVECERO F.C. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Americo Abechuco hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Abechuco came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Mikelats. 81 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's Timoteo Herrera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Macerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Keylor Navas came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Alfonso Isaio. But to his dismay, Alfonso Isaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Ongile during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes EL CERVECERO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Ongile. Arnaldo Macerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Niva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Erland Möllgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
