Övertorneå RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian de Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Ian de Godoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 28 minutes, Ian de Godoi made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian de Godoi in the 37th minute of play forced Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Stefan Målare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Ian de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Målare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jens-Ola Ståhlberg fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Övertorneå RK's protests and gave Jens-Ola Ståhlberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Övertorneå RK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jens-Ola Ståhlberg hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Dito Velloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Målare. In the 46thth minute of the game Dito Velloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Övertorneå RK's Stefan Målare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dito Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian de Godoi scored 0-6 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Målare, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Övertorneå RK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Ian de Godoi scored to the left of an out of position Stefan Målare, making the score, 0-7. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Ian de Godoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 63 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Stefan Målare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Falcão. Stefan Målare came out of the goal and Dito Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ian de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian de Godoi couldn't finish the play. Stefan Målare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Målare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Stefan Målare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dito Velloso went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. 93 minutes into the match, Ian de Godoi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stefan Målare, 0-12. Jens-Ola Ståhlberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jens-Ola Ståhlberg hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 99 minutes into the game, Severino Falcão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stefan Målare. Severino Falcão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13.
