The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lech Prus hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, TSV Delliehausen's goalkeeper Jörn Funk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Janusz Starogardzki. TSV Delliehausen's Jörn Funk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Byczewski in the 10th minute of play. The FC GIDLE fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when FC GIDLE's Jan Byczewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17th minute Gustaw Bronicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörn Funk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, FC GIDLE's Janusz Starogardzki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jörn Funk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gustaw Bronicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TSV Delliehausen's Jörn Funk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save TSV Delliehausen from getting a goal against them. Jan Byczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Funk having to interfere. A collision led to TSV Delliehausen getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Adolf Gockel hit a great ball. After 42 minutes, Herbert Neffin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TSV Delliehausen and the FC GIDLE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, TSV Delliehausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Neffin to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaw Bronicki was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaw Bronicki in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörn Funk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, TSV Delliehausen's Shingo Pensky got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gustaw Bronicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to TSV Delliehausen getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Carlo Wester hit a great ball. Jörn Funk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Bronicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TSV Delliehausen's Jörn Funk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaw Bronicki in the 56th minute of play. Jörn Funk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Bronicki in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, TSV Delliehausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shingo Pensky to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Byczewski in the 66th minute of play forced TSV Delliehausen's goalkeeper Jörn Funk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörn Funk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Byczewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some careless play in the TSV Delliehausen defense, Jan Byczewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jörn Funk. The TSV Delliehausen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jörn Funk should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Byczewski in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörn Funk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lech Prus hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC GIDLE's Tomasz Balonek got control of the ball when Oliver Körth tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, FC GIDLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Prus to maneuver through the defense. Jörn Funk came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by FC GIDLE's Gustaw Bronicki. But to his dismay, Gustaw Bronicki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 89 minutes into the match, FC GIDLE's goalkeeper Tomasz Balonek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolf Gockel. 93 minutes into the match, FC GIDLE's goalkeeper Tomasz Balonek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Körth. FC GIDLE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of TSV Delliehausen for a fine match.
