Alfons Löfgren spun around in front of the goal 9 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Övertorneå RK's goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Harry Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Övertorneå RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Karlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Örtlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Överås BK fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Överås BK's Osvald Salkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leo Örtlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ola Ståhlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Övertorneå RK's Stefan Målare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Övertorneå RK from getting a goal against them. Stefan Målare came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Överås BK's Alfons Löfgren. But to his dismay, Alfons Löfgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Leo Örtlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Karlsson in the 33rd minute of play. Stefan Målare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfons Löfgren in the 36th minute. The supporters of Övertorneå RK booed when Överås BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harry Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Leo Örtlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vincent Arvidsson hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Överås BK's Alfons Löfgren shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 49th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Stefan Målare but with some difficulty.

Övertorneå RK's Stefan Målare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Löfgren in the 60th minute of play. Stefan Målare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Löfgren in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Alfons Löfgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Målare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Alfons Löfgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Målare was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfons Löfgren in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Målare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvald Salkvist in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Målare saved Övertorneå RK from getting behind. Stefan Målare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Alebom came free, but Stefan Målare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Övertorneå RK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
