The FMArgentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Gartzea should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of FMArgentina:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Les Tigres:s goal. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Les Tigres. André-Pierre Gignac stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baldomero Gartzea. 2-0. After having played for 10 minutes, André-Pierre Gignac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Tigres's supporters crossed their fingers, but André-Pierre Gignac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FMArgentina's Baldomero Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André-Pierre Gignac in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Oscar Cloyo collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Andres Machado's late challenge caught a Les Tigres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Machado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FMArgentina getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Andres Machado hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FMArgentina's Jose Bibiano got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, André-Pierre Gignac put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Baldomero Gartzea. In the 29th minute, Jonathan Veronica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 minutes of play, Les Tigres's André-Pierre Gignac made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Gartzea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baldomero Gartzea made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Zeledon Lizbeth sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Albano Esiquio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baldomero Gartzea, 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

FMArgentina's Andres Machado got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Andres Machado off the ground. A collision led to FMArgentina getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Andres Machado hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, André-Pierre Gignac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Baldomero Gartzea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 62 minutes into the match, FMArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when André-Pierre Gignac came free, but Baldomero Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute André-Pierre Gignac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, André-Pierre Gignac notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of FMArgentina's Baldomero Gartzea. Baldomero Gartzea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baldomero Gartzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Jon in the 75th minute of the match. Santos Fresco kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Baldomero Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André-Pierre Gignac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, André-Pierre Gignac notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of FMArgentina's Baldomero Gartzea. Baldomero Gartzea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute André-Pierre Gignac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Gartzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Esiquio in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Zeledon Lizbeth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Gartzea. FMArgentina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Lizbeth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. 11-0 became the score in the 95th minute when Zeledon Lizbeth elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Les Tigres's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
